Project title: IMPACT – Investing in Mission, People, and Capacity Together
Location: Yerevan, Armenia (in-person sessions)
Engagement type: Short-term consultancy
Expected timeline: April 26, 2025 – May 31, 2025
Remuneration: 220,000 AMD (gross) for 2 working days
Deadline to apply: April 20, 2025, 18:00 AMT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and facilitate 2 separate interactive workshops (each 3.5 – 4 hours),
on different days, for up to 20 participants.
Cover topics such as:
Emotional resilience and psychological safety
Managing stress and burnout
Trauma-informed approaches in youth work
Self-care and collective care in team environments
Incorporate art-based or expressive therapy techniques (e.g., storytelling,
visual journaling, movement-based methods) where applicable.

Foster an inclusive and supportive group atmosphere in line with trauma-
sensitive facilitation practices.

Provide a brief toolkit or handout with key strategies, exercises, or follow-up
reflections.
Submit a short post-session report including participant feedback and
professional recommendations.
KEY DELIVERABLES
1.2 separate, well-structured, participatory workshops delivered in person.
Resource materials or handouts summarizing key concepts and tools shared
during the sessions.

3.A brief narrative report (max. 2 pages) outlining:
Session content and methodology
Participant engagement and outcomes
Recommendations for future well-being initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree and/or certification in psychology, counseling,
psychotherapy, social work, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in delivering mental health
support, preferably in civil society, humanitarian, or post-conflict settings.
Proven experience working with youth professionals, NGOs, or vulnerable
populations in Armenia or comparable regional contexts.
Strong facilitation skills using non-formal education or participatory methods.
Familiarity with trauma-informed care and workplace well-being models.
Strong intercultural sensitivity, empathy, and ability to build trust in diverse
groups.
Fluency in Armenian is preferred; English proficiency (minimum C1) is
required since sessions are conducted in English.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Engagement type: Short-term consultancy
2 separate in-person workshop sessions on different days
Honorarium: 220,000 AMD (gross)
Costs covered by YDC:
— Venue rental and logistical arrangements for both workshops.
— All necessary materials for art-based or therapeutic exercises.
Not covered: The expert’s transportation and accommodation expenses.

Preparatory meetings
The expert will join 2 online prep-meetings with the organisation’s core team.
